Features

• The Copan UriFree device is indicated for the transfer of urine specimens from the primary collection container
• In the laboratory, specimens transferred to UriFree are processed using standard clinical laboratory operating procedures for the culture of uropathogenic bacteria and yeasts
• Sealed sterile package containing 50 pieces of the single-use device composed of a polypropylene test tube with screw cap
• Inside the tube the cap supports a plastic shaft with hydrophilic polyurethane sponge elements
• Sterile urine collection container and appropriate materials for isolation and culture of uropathogenic bacteria and yeasts, e.g. culture media and incubation systems are not provided
