Folate RBC Hemolyzing Reagent is intended to be used in conjunction with the Elecsys Folate RBC assay for the determination of folate in erythrocytes
Hemolysis of whole blood samples is necessary to determine the folate content in erythrocytes
4 packs of ascorbic acid, each containing 0.4 g, 1 empty plastic bottle for 200 mL
To prepare the 0.2 % ascorbic acid solution, transfer the entire content of one pack to the plastic bottle and dissolve by adding 200 mL of distilled or deionized water
The plastic bottle should be rinsed with distilled or deionized water before reuse
