• The Xpert® Swab Specimen Collection Kit is designed to collect, preserve, and transport endocervical, vaginal, pharyngeal, and rectal swab specimens
• This transport system is used for testing with Xpert tests
• Swabs are broken off into the transport reagent tubes to elute organisms and stabilize DNA
• Swab specimens are then transported to the laboratory for testing on the GeneXpert Instrument Systems
• Use this collection kit only with the Xpert CT/NG or the Xpert TV tests
