On August 5th, we introduced our future name, Wellverse. We will continue operating as McKesson Medical-Surgical until we formally start using the Wellverse name and brand, which we anticipate will happen in February 2027.
McKesson Medical-Surgical is Becoming Wellverse.
There is no immediate action needed by customers or suppliers. Customers, suppliers, employees and other stakeholders will receive additional updates as the rollout progresses. The name transition will not result in any immediate changes to day-to-day operations, service or customer and supplier relationships. Stay tuned for updates.

McKesson Medical-Surgical is becoming Wellverse. You will begin seeing the Wellverse name and brand appear across communications, websites, emails, and other materials over time.
We expect our legal name to officially change to Wellverse on February 1, 2027. At that time, several legal entities will be renamed including:

Over time, you may notice:
- The Wellverse name appearing on communications and customer-facing materials
- Updated logos, branding, and visual elements

These updates are part of the brand transition and will not affect how you do business with us.
Our goal is to ensure continuity throughout the transition. As we approach the February 1, 2027, legal name change date, some customers will need to update vendor records or review updated documentation. No changes to McKesson Medical-Surgical Employer Identification Numbers (EINs) are currently planned as part of the name change.
Wellverse will publish new W-9 forms following the name change. We expect those to be available online on February 1, 2027. Existing tax information should continue to be used until updated W-9 forms and any supporting documentation are formally provided after the legal name changes.
If action is required, we will provide advance notice, required documentation, clear instructions, timing, and support to help ensure uninterrupted ordering, invoicing, payments, and service.
Yes. McKesson private label products will continue to be available throughout the transition. As future branding updates affect product packaging or naming, we will communicate those changes in advance.
