- The HemoCue® Hb 201+ System is intended for the the quantitative determination of hemoglobin in whole blood
- Every time the analyzer is turned on, it will automatically verify the performance of the optronic unit which means that a control cuvette is no longer needed
- Produces accurate results in less than one minute
- Requires small sample volume of capillary, venous, or arterial blood (10 mcl)
- No calibration or instrument manipulation (between cuvette/reagent batches) needed
- Automatically compensates for turbidity due to lipids or leukocytosis
- Allow the analyzer to reach ambient temperature before use: 59 to 104 degrees F (15 to 40 degrees C)
- The microcuvette serves both as a pipette and as a measuring cuvette and is for single-use only
