WHAT IS USP <800>?
USP <800> requires oversight by a qualified person, hazardous drug (HD) inventory and risk assessments, competent personnel, and standard operating procedures. This standard applies to all healthcare professionals who receive, prepare, administer, transport, or come into contact with HDs and all the environments in which they are handled.
