• The effects of Lexiscan are not dependent on a patient's weight, eliminating the need for calculating and measuring each patient's dose
• Lexiscan 0.08 mg/5 mL is administered as a rapid (10 seconds) injection followed immediately by a 5-mL saline flush
• The radiotracer is then administered 10-20 seconds later
• Lexiscan administration eliminates the pump infusion process
