• The Kit H-I-T Female Vacuum 1/4 Hose with Nut Gland and FER SDP comes as a part of the Diameter Index Safety System (DISS) module of the Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) in an anesthesia delivery machine
• DISS provides gases required for the patient from an external outlet
• Hoses are provided at the wall outlet of DISS, specific to each gas and are color coded such that they can be distinguished easily
• The assembly consists of a hex nut, a vacuum gland, a hose coupler knob and the hose to provide a vacuum
• The ends of the hose are covered by ferrules or caps
• They are provided to prevent the ends of the hose from splitting and damage and are made of brass, which is highly wear resistant
