• Specimen Validity Test (SVT) Controls are for use as assayed controls for the determination of chromate, creatinine, nitrite, oxidant, pH, and specific gravity in urine specimens submitted for Drugs of Abuse Testing (DAT) on Roche/Hitachi cobas c analyzers

• Adulterated when the pH is < 4 or ≥ 11; the nitrite concentration is ≥ 500 mg/L; or the chromate concentration is ≥ 50 mg/L
• Dilute when the creatinine concentration is ≥ 2 mg/dL but < 20 mg/dL and the specific gravity is > 1.0010 but < 1.0030
• Substituted when the creatinine concentration is < 2 mg/dL and the specific gravity is ≤ 1.0010 or ≥ 1.0200
• 1 X 100 mL SVT Control 2
