Every day, you’re making a difference in the communities that you serve, and we recognize that you’ve never stopped serving on the front line.
Each of the topics in this roadmap is important for healthcare providers to consider, and we’ve tried to make it easy for you to find most relevant information for EMS.
Feel free to jump around from topic to topic as needed and check back often for updates. We’re here to help you navigate your path forward into the new state of healthcare and beyond.
The CDC maintains an up-to-date situational summary and has published guidance documents to help EMS, first responders and other healthcare providers who anticipate close contact with persons with suspected or confirmed Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection in the course of their work to help fight the pandemic.
The Federal Healthcare Resilience Task Force EMS/Prehospital Team created a collection of guidance and resources for EMS administrators, 911 supervisors and EMS personnel to make informed choices on tactics, techniques and procedures for dealing with COVID-19. These documents were developed by a team of FEMA, CDC, DOT, USFA and USCG members, as well as other stakeholder organizations.
